Default A view from the Observatory. A neutral AAR.

This is like the AI progression, but on a different level. I will keep it simple, one photo every year showing progression of all the factions and if necessary, extra to show really big, random or important behaviour. How am I neutral? I chose the only faction without borders. The Casse! I will simply use the Casse to conquer the British Isles and maybe if I get bored, Crete seeing as it's eleutheroi. So here we go.

271BC - The Epirus takes Pella ,the Saka grab a little bit of steppe and Pontus seizes Galatia. Not much going on ATM guys.

270BC - The Saka and Sauros grab some steppe, the Pahlava eat a bit of the Arche, and the rest battle it out without any gains.

269BC - The Getai strike out and claim some coastline, the Lusos follow north up the Atlantic coast of Iberia, and the Arche claim back some of the land lost to the Pahlava.

268BC - The Baktrians take some near by eleutheroi while in the Hellas, everyone is standing around staring at each other!

267BC - The Ptollies grab some desert while the greeks, maks and Epirots still are staring off.

266BC - The Sweboz take little old Denmark and still the staring match continues with occasional movement to distract the other army.

And there is the first update.

Summary: Wow that was more boring than one had hoped for. Let's hope the next 5 years of war offers some more interesting expansions.

This is a very interesting idea for an AAR.

I can't lay claim to the idea. If you go on the AAR sections of TWC, you can see one which follows the same principle but using RS. In the end though he got involved because people wanted him to save factions and he worked out he killed like a million people(on the actual RTW scale!) on a rampage through the Selucieds.

Just to show my determination, I will post another update now!

    Update 2 - 5 more years

265BC - The Pahlava continue to grow and snip some more of the Arche distant provinces. I'm actually really happy with the way the Steppes are forming with everyone seeming content to kill Eleutheroi of AS.

While elsewhere, the Aedui unite themselves and cut the Averni in half, the KH are given Halicarnassus as a present(revolt) from the AS who in return get Palmyra, pontus annexe Sinope and the Sabyn take some neighbouring province.

And greatest of all. ACTIVITY IN THE HELLAS. Well, the teal brigade have decided to leave the KH and maks to their games and are moving to secure a balkan empire. Seriously Maks, they have near no army and you have 2 full stacks there and another lesbian stack that could take Asia Minor!(I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself)

264BC - Well just as quickly as the Aedui gained the crossroads between the confederations, they lost it, although they managed to grab another city nearby to make up for it. They are my dead cert to win the war in Gaul!

While in the Hellas the Teal brigade are succeeding in growing into a real power and unless the maks wake up, could become the overwhelmingly dominant power in the region. Oh and the Sabyn carry on growing cautiously.

263BC - Nothing much, the Maks make a move, but they are defeated by chremondies(sp?) and the Hai take their first province.

262BC - Once again, very little. The Saka steal a little bit more steppe and the Arche seize Sidon. A very even contest between the Arche and Ptolies. I wonder how they will fare when Pontus, Baktria and the Hai get involved.

261BC - The Sauros steal a little bit more wasteland.

DIPLOMACY - but you can work it out for yourself!

    Great idea, keep it up!

Your Romani is really idle, you'd think they would have at least taken Taras by now...

I often find Epiros grabs Pellas, then expands north pretty rapidly while Macedon fights KH. Macedon always seems to have stronger armies then Epeiros, but Macedon never does anything with them.

It depends on who's using them. And are you sure that the Epirote bodyguard has higher stats? Because the Makedonians use Somatophylakes Strategou, same as the Ptolemies and Seleukids.

I meant command stars, not the actual bodyguard. I'm pretty sure Maks have the best Bodyguard, but I never see any good generals out on the field, all I see are captains and that's a real disadvantage when they have to fight really good generals.

Antigonos and Pyrrhos start with the same command afaik. However, Sapalbizes of the Saka Rauka is also really strong (as you see in my AAR)

btw, the Epeirote bodyguard may have lower stats than Hetairoi, but has Very Good Stamina, which allows 4+ charges before Winded/Tired.

No update today as I'm a wee bit drunk (because I said a wee bit drunk, I mean drunk enough not to see straight, but sober enough to make sure that I spell correctly and write in a grammatically sound way!).

Very nice idea. Like the way the Sauro´s are progressing. If possible, please continue with focusing a bit closer on a special area of the map that seems interesting. Like for example if you spot a Famous Battle marker or the like. I often look around the map for like 15 minutes just looking for battle markers, armies, the FL and FH of a faction and stuff like that.
A bit over the top I know.

I don't come here a lot any more. You know why? Because you suck. That's right, I'm talking to you. Your annoying attitude, bad grammar, illogical arguments, false beliefs and pathetic attempts at humour have driven me and many other nice people from this forum. You should feel ashamed. Report here at once to recieve your punishment. Scumbag.

Here is a post to explain the lack of them. The reason? I have been busy with uni stuff, but this weekend I have a two hour train journey home with no work to do so I will spend it crop pictures, write histories and things like that so that next week I have AT LEAST 20 years, but I'm gonna try for a lot more because I have the corresponding journey back to uni and the weekend to play!

Also I will focus more on the steppes because they seem to be the hotbed of activity whilst the Romans sit around drinking carthaginian wine all day and become too pissed to expand.
