Ancient games(like fallout) don't even start on Vista, especially if in program files.Newer games that know how Vista operates should be able to be installed under Program Files (they will rather bloat everyone's Documents and Settings folders instead of keeping in the space you define upon installation), but RTW is not among them. RTW may turn out to not find files it needs, and savegames (and validation results, I might add) may be lost in Vista's nigh-inscrutable bowels.
It is safer, and tidier, to install games and other applications in own folders so that you can clear out any M$ crap and install fresh when you one day find your computer working like a slug.
