    Default Gentlemen, good news

I have met a woman. We are deeply in love. This hasn't happened to me for years.

    Uncork the champagne.

But in all seriousness, it's about time this happened. I've been wanting a relationship for quite a while, and suddenly one has dropped into my lap. Not literally. Well, not yet anyway...

    Mikeus Caesar,

I do believe you deserve this. I vaguely recall you having some problems a while ago, and this is exactly what you need. Don't let her break your heart, though.

My only advice: Keep it truthful.

Lack of trust has destroyed mine. Well not so much that as both of us lieing about stuff. Then telling the other now that we arent together.

Regardless: Well done! As I would say before partaking in DotA: gl hf etc

I mean come back when you have a contract.
I've been waiting 23 years now but nothing dropped into my lap yet, except some ice cream, so stop complaining and keep smiling I mean uhm, have fun, good behaviour and...something.

    Danke to all.

Somehow, i doubt i'm going to find something to be depressed about again for a very long time. I was already on a natural high (my yearly suicide attempt/cry for help was a month or so back, i feel better after that) and now for this to happen...and i had an interview for a new job today as well, the guy said that barring extraordinary circumstances (i.e antimiracle) i've pretty much got the job.

    Best. Day. Ever.

And not only does it brighten your day, but it can give you all hope - if a hopeless clutz like me who sits inside all day browsing 4chan can get a girlfriend, then anyone can.

Except morbidly obese wife-beaters with downs syndrome...

The only advice I can give you:

Lie to her at least 6 times a day, never look her in the eye, and eventually run a way with the milk maid after bankrupting her.

I hope that helps in some small way.

That's no place to learn about love, kid. I would meander into other regions of the real and theortical world, were I you. Unless this "girl" is actually a barn animal. Then again, as the Tiroleans says, there are no laws on the mountain, right?

Pronounce it like a lowercase 'F', but make it a constant sound. That is the sound of impending anger. Fear it.

But yes, once again, thank you to all. I'm immediately regretting this...constant texting to her is going to cost me a lot of money...

As Mikeus said, it's the sound of a long and drawn out four letter word. It's a popular meme now on eBaums.

And for Mikeus: Never change. If a girl wants you to change who you are, then they only love you for who they want to perceive you as, rather than who you really are. That's the best advice I can give.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

False, all relationships are based on lies. Want proof? Every girl I have told this to has broken up with me, if I had lied and said honesty is the best course I would still be in a relationship right now.

I love you!! Lol, but in all seriousness, this one girl wanted me to cut my hair(no... I mean, no way), and the last one didn't like my cologne(everyone else compliments me on it, what the!?).

Anyways, congratz, Mikeus. Remember this always: Where there's life, there's hope.

I think it depends on the change, if someone asks you to stop smoking for example then I'd say it's simply time to realize your own stupidity and go along with the request of your loved one.
