Undesired Tactical battle display change

Hi smart guys :D

since I finally remembered to activate the backgroundscript with each load/reload, something annoying happened concerning the tactical battles. The "HUD" and troop roster radically changed from the standard RTW/M2TW layout to a Shogun/medieval variant with all units in a single file at the bottom of the screen, the minimap in the upper-right corner and the control options in the top of the screen, popping up when I move the cursor to the top of the screen, or when i press f6. The time controls have dissapeared altogether.

I find this layout really annyoing and it affects my battles too. I've tried to change it back to the normal layout, by altering camera settings, but it only changed the zoomcontrols. I saw no other in-game options to alter the layout.
How can I fix this? I really prefered the normal RTW layout as it gave better oversight, easier access to unit options (I ain't much of a hotkey user) and the time controls (for speeding up the final pursuit or siege combat at the square).

p.s: maybe my cat pushed some buttons when I was in the toilet or something...

It has nothing to do with you activating the background script. In the same folder where you have the "singleplayer" shortcut that starts EB you will find a configuration shortcut. Open it and uncheck the option called "Minimal UI".

it takes a while to get used to... but once you do it... you can't go back to the default hud...

honestly... it just blocks your view rather than help you... and it's even more annoying to use.

try the minimal hud again , and try to get used to it
just remember ctrl+t to change the pace of the game (1x, 3x)

just and advice, I now can't play any mod without it
