    Default Diplomacy and Custom Battles and Raiding

    Hello... I think this is correct place to for this post;

    Well when I want to start a custom battle I see a huge mixed units. And there is little difference between factions... And also mostly there aren't native units of a faction in that faction army roster. i.e. there is no hastati in Romani... How can I solve this problem?

    And I am confused a little about protectorate. In protectorate agreement there is only 'trade rights, alliance, military access (for both sides)' . Nothing else? ... I am using Alex.

    Well last question about Lustainni faction. In victory conditions it says I have to raid some regions (Most of the Karthastam and Romani regions). How can I raid these regions? Shall I have to conquer and choose enslave option? I am also confused with this 'raiding' stuff. I am very familiarised with conquering so raiding looks a bit different :D but also interesting too :D

    Thanks

    Cihan

    1. In order to have the right faction rosters for EB custom battles, you will have to start EB in multiplayer rather than in the normal single player mode (to do this you must select "Multiplayer" from the "Game Type" list options box that you get every time you start up EB).

    2. Protectorate is when the "protected" nation gives a large portion of its money to the host nation, or so I believe. You might want to use forum search and look up "protectorate". These three questions you have asked have already been answered countless times, although it is a bit difficult sometimes to retrieve those answers among piles of other data.

    3.This question has also been recently answered, but anyway, what raiding is is basically keeping a territory for at least one turn. So in order to "raid" a territory, you have to conquer it and keep it for at least a turn; alternatively, you might also keep the territory until the end of the campaign. It doesn't matter which one you do - they all count towards the victory objectives.
