EB 1.1 video modes

Hi. I run EB on my laptop (long summer of broken computers and bones ), whose native resolution is 1680x1050, which I use for my Windows desktop.

I'd ran EB pre 1.0 and 1.0 (on RTW-BI), but it's been a while since I set them up. Just installed EB 1.1 (and Ferromancer's installer to run on BI) and it looks great!

However, I had thought I'd found a way to run EB-BI at 1680x1050, but I can't remember for sure. Is it possible? Or is 1280x768 the highest resolution possible?

Go to EB/preferences. In there you will find preferences.txt, search that file for resolutions and change these to your desire. There's a similar file under <Rome>/preferences, btw.

Really? You can make the game run in any weird resolution that you'd like ?

Thanks! That was what I had done before and it worked perfectly.

BTW, I've also tried out running EB on RTW-Alx.exe using ||Lz3||'s minimod pack2 (removed the Citymod as he instructed as it seemed to cause problems for the Celtic reforms (assuming I get a game that far)). That's working out so far too.
