Thread: EB Startup

    Default EB Startup

Hi folks! I've downloaded EB 1.1 (some time ago) but haven't installed it before now. The problem is that when I try to run it, I get vanilla RTW and not EB. Version is 1.5, no modifications, clean install (although it's a copy of the normal vanilla install I have in a different directory). But anyhow, game runs through EB directory but the EB files don't seem to do anything. Anyone have any idea?

Ok, I searched the threads and found a solution, BUT - one question:

Where can I download the Trivial Script needed for this fix?

If you get RTW then you've installed EB in the wrong folder.

The trivial script comes along with the EB 1.1 installer.

Well, I've used the exact same method with 1.0 and it seemed to work. So I don't see how it could be a wrong folder. The game's run path is in EB folder, so I think that's not the issue. But thanks!

Run a validation to make sure that you've installed EB correctly. Also, if you haven't installed the Trivial script, you won't have a shortcut to start EB. You can create one yourself though, make sure it includes
    " -mod:eb"
in the target line (without the quotemarks).

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.
