How do you uninstall EB? Im asking this because theres some problem and I think reinstalling is the only thing that will help. Do I go to the add/remove programs or is there an uninstall button in the Rome total war folder or something?
    Thanks in advance

Good question. I haven't installed it myself... I'll point LordBula over here.

He does not necessarily come on the forum every day.

I think uninstalling is not necessary in order to install again, by the way. I suggest that you just try.

There is nothing tricky about uninstalling EB.
Just uninstall EB as any other software (shortcut should be in Remove Programs, in Start menu and in EB folder).

If you installed Documentation and/or RV and/or Trivial script they also have separate uninstallers.
You have to uninstall them separately.

Sorry for this short answer but I assume you know how uninstallers work.
If no then shout and I will switch to Windows and provide more detailed description of the process.

Well I know the add/remove program but I dont remember whether I installed the trivial script, the RV or the documentation. Any way to find that out? Sorry for my ignorance
    Thanks

I found the documentation and EB1.1 and trivial script in add/remove programs and is RV 0.9 the one you're talking about?
Because I just want to uninstall the game and then reinstall it and does RV have to be uninstalled and reinstalled or can I just leave it as it is?

Short answer: uninstall EB and reinstall it. Leave all other elements alone.

    Long answer:
All 4 applications (EB,RV,TrivialScript,Documentation) can work separately without other elements.
Although EB and RV can use TrivialScript if it is present to get additional functionality.
Thats why they are in separate installers and can be installed and uninstalled separately.

What exactly is the function of the trivial script? Because ive uninstalled and reinstalled the game like 5 times and each time I get a trivial script error. It says "Failed to copy the file" a long list of files from G/users/me/CA/RTW/EB to G/users etc. After this the game starts but whenever I try to play as Lusotanna or Seleucia it crashes. Any ideas? Should I download the whole EB 1.1 again?
Can i get an answer please?

The trivial script makes some simple changes to files based on your preferences, such as set of lighting files and switching between single player and custom battle. If you get an error in it, reinstall the trivial script and it should be fine, unless you've damaged something else, in which case you'll have to reinstall EB. Probably after doing so you will then have to reinstall the trivial script.

But is the trivial script really essential for the game? I've reinstalled EB like a dozen times, same thing happens each time. I completely erased EB from the comp and then downloaded the whole thing again, and I'm still getting the error. What do I do? Not install it at all?

My advise is to create standard RTW shortcut. Then edit it, add "-mod:EB" parameter.
Then try to play EB using this shortcut.
