Sounds like emo to me. In Turkey, you get a hair-straightener, all-black tight wear, eyeliner and a pair of Converse shoes and there you go. You've just been an em-...Oh wait that's the universal way of the emo, no ?

So being an Indie is another way to -apparently- look different to attract chicks ? [prepares himself to puke]
Yeah I was having a laugh, thus the, perhaps the, would have been better?

Pk so Indie really just refers to bands and their fans who do not like iy=t when said bands get signed to the bigger market labels, sure sometimes they sign on to smaller side projects, but meh, their style is not compromised.

So a band like Bloc Party is a good example, not exactly alt-rock, moe like post-punk revival, that kind of thing, the Killers are also a slightly more mainstream version of this.

The fashion of Indie kids has not really changed for ages, though right now it has been adopted by the mallstream fashionistas.

It has nothiong articstically to do with EMO, that shit totally ips off Indie bands and their fans, its bollocks. We do not wear black, I make a point of never wearing black jeans. Most of the time we look the same as everyone else. Though you can sometimes run into complete jerk-off iIndie kids, the Elitists. We have loads of them in this town, they are so far up theirs that I have even known some of them not to talk to another group simply due that group's dress sense and musical tastes. Ugh...

Metro?
I don't really know what that means anymore, I mean if you want to live in a city and pull chicks, I guess you have to wear what looks good, but not to the point of going to a spa or something.

@CR, Yeah I hate that crap too, thats just teenie bopepr stuff as usual...

@Strike, I rune away from kids like you, then bring a gun the next day and shoot you
