Remembering Childhood
Okay, so me and some friends at work today were discussing some of our favorite things as children of the 90's, and primarily went over TV, movies, and books. General consensus, of course, is that what we grew up with was far beter than most of the garbage that's on now, sans the movies of course, 'cuz we were nincompoops who didn't know what most movies meant in many cases.
So, given the "average" orgah is roughly within a standard deviation of 8 or so years, here's the question: Growing up as a kid(that is, 12 and under), what were your first favorite TV shows, book/book series, and movies?
Personally:
TV shows- Rocko's Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Loony Tunes(Bugs is always gonna be the champ), and Animaniacs(god I wish we had shows like them still around).
Movies- Wasn't much of a movies kid, but Lion King will always be King.
Books- Goosebumps and Animorphs(Introduced me to what war would actually sorta be like, kinda, if it was really fantasy-like).
