    Default Why You Like .Org?

Why You Like .Org? Is it Because it a nice fourm, or other reasons?

There been many threads about where you got your name, or how you came to .Org, but how about this. Why you like .Org? Because you know it well? You find what you need here?

I like it here because you guys make this a fun place. You got every type of a member here, people who to obess with this game (like me ), people who come here only for 1 or 2 things, people who come here for fun, the whole 9 yards.

If you screw up here, people forgive and that's it.

You got nice Contests here, like the Annual HOF, Story/Poem, My Screenshot Contests, Mafia,IH's and so on.

    Great Place

    Your Thoughts?

Seems to be nicer that the bigger forums, fewer n00Btastic posters.

Nice people, no swearing and diverse and interesting conversations!

The modding resources and the need for E:TW news keeps me here as well

x2 The .Org has become a forum I like for far more than just its use for my Total War games.

Four stage strategy from Yes, Minister:
Stage one we say nothing is going to happen.
Stage two, we say something may be about to happen, but we should do nothing about it.
Stage three, we say that maybe we should do something about it, but there's nothing we can do.
Stage four, we say maybe there was something we could have done, but it's too late now.

i prefer this to some others because it has successful mafia, twcentres mafia is mostly dead and theres loads of immature people on that site that sulk, people here tend to be more friendly

edit: though strike to the south has just threaten to beat me up, i may change my mind.... *runz*

This was the original total war site (well there was the official game forum for about a day or two) that i visited all those years ago when MTW came out. I guess I've stayed because of all the interesting things that have happened since and continue to go on.

I just think this is a more organized fourm. It not as big as TWC, but not as small as a small clan fourm. It Medium size

Didn't we all? I still go back and read that madness on occasion. Somehow though i think this legendary joke is lost on some of our younger members...

As for why i have stayed around for nearly 4 years? Routine, i guess. I use to come here everyday because i liked to talk about RTW. Now i've just got into a routine of visiting here at least once a day, even though to be quite honest it sometimes doesn't interest me. But that's only during slow weeks.

Me, I hate this forum. I hate all you people too. I simply get paid to study social interaction in digital multi-entity environments, that's all.

I haven't found any better forums around; though I should admit that I have not visited too many.

EDIT: And of course, TW is a great game series.

Lots of friendly folks in 95% of the forum, and lots of bizarre folks in the 5% that consists of the backroom.

Plus, some high quality class here in the frontroom, be it debating football, baseball, or babes.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
