Well, after browsing these forums this is me----->

lol. I am posting reguarding Rome:Total War.I have alot of questions and i feel overwhelemed so bear with me :P. I would like to know more about the multiplayer campaign...how it works, where to get it and whats it like? (and some other info i might need). Thanx guys! :)

Best bet is to post in the Rome:Total War section, or if you are looking to vs other people on here, in the Throne Room.

The Throne Room is where hotseat campaigns and PBMs are posted at. At the moment though there are no hotseat games for RTW(not sure if there ever have been honestly. I don't remember ever seeing any). What a hotseat is:

is there a difference between a hotseat game and a PBM game? Before i go buy M2TW...i wud like to know...

The difference is with hotseats you control an entire faction and in most PBMs I've seen you only control one avatar(general unit) and usually an army.

Thanx guys, so in a PBM, everyone is workings as one faction, playing their turn and tending to their own army...and in a hotseat, each player is a faction and they take their turn against the other players empires against AI. Correct?
