Okay. Here are some interesting bits of info I got from the movie (more or less in order of appearence)
- At 0.39 you can see an option to ‘Exempt region from tax’.
- The diplomacy screen at 0.44 shows protectorates are in the game.
- At 00.53 you can see a News Icon on the left of the screen.
- Most of North America looks like uncolonised territory (its colour on the mini map is a standard grey) this suggests it can be colonised.
- There is also a town in Canada apparently named Moose Factory.
- At 1.18 We can see the flag of the Papacy, as well as Venice and a flag I am assuming belongs to Florence (off centre red cross on white background)
- At 1.21 the tooltip (top left of screen) reads:
Militias
An ungarrisoned city automatically generates Militia to keep order. Although not effective during an insurrection as billeted light infantry, such as dragoons. Militia are well able to manage day to day public order problems. They cannot leave the city in which they were spawned.
- At 1.28 Expenditure seems to come in three categories. Army Upkeep and Navy Upkeep are self explanatory, but the third one is Town Watch. You can also see ‘State Religion.’
- 1.28 Also lists Britain’s victory conditions as ‘Hold the highest Prestige rating at the end of year 1799.
- 1.32 Shows Austria is a playable faction. We also see a Green and White flag (top and bottom) with some kind of yellow central decoration.
- 1.37 The construction scroll lists where a building will be built (in the capital, in the countryside or in a town)
- 1.37 The building Peasant Farms gives the following bonuses:
*Reduces chance of food shortages
*+ 100 to region wealth.
*Produces sheep.
*0.5% to population growth.
- 1.43 We can see three flags. Poland Lithuania, Prussia, and a third in the top right behind the Eurogamer text.
- 1.47 Battle map looks damn good. Also there is a unit with 160 men in it. Cavalry units have 40 men. General has 60.
- 1.55 That wall looks really bad compared to the detailed textures in Medieval 2.
- 2.02 You can see a variety of different forts can be built (looks like stockade and wooden fort. The wooden fort is listed with a number 2 and costs 1500. Looks like an upgrade tree for forts).
- 2.12. The rake has a 'Command on Land' ranking of two stars.
I hope all that was useful for people, because it took several watches of the video for me to notice it all.Enjoy.
