A classic game, and much better than X wing and those that followed it. All of the missions I found to have the perfect balance of difficulty. I probably played it to death and certainly wore out a few joysticks on it.

Another classic, well IMHO anyway. Very addictive, with some great missions that were tricky to pull off. I loved the salvage and repair aspect of it, and used to get very annoyed seeing a chassis I was hoping to keep get a total powerplant blow out. The cutscenes were certainly top class. I wonder if I am the only one that used to get rid of "W" variant chassis and only buy and keep "A" variants with a "J" for the odd mission where it was needed? I found "W"'s too vulnerable and good only at getting pilots killed.
