Redux: Install Emergency!

Hi guys,

Dr. William: It seems you beat me to it, are you starting your shift early today?

I wrote my "diagnose" unaware that my esteemed fellow install-doctor already had forward his. At any rate, I offer more of the same (just to be on the safe side) and for the sake of synergy.

Now correct me if I’m wrong Martok….

• You installed MTW 1.1 at this place: “C:/Program Files/Total War/Medieval – Total War” - as in default install, right?
• You have tried to use the red install-model right?
• According to you, you have put the renamed “Redux - Total War” (now named “Medieval – Total War”) into the regular “Medieval – Total War”-folder, right? As in this:
  
  “C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval – Total War” Right?
  
  Now try to paste in another renamed folder here instead (using the red install-model):
  
  “C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval – Total War”
  
  
• Now you get the question if you want to replace the already existing one or something like that. Just select the “Yes to all” option and let the stuff do its thing. Once it’s all done, start up the game using the .EXE again, yes the one inside the “Medieval – Total War”-folder you just “replaced”. Now the game should be different, right? He he…
  
  As for the lost folder from the first attempt; look inside the “Medieval – Total War”-folder, look at the existing folders there. One of them is named: “Medieval – Total War”, right? That’s the one that “disappeared”…

Start up the game and have a first look at the reduxed MTW, and don’t forget to close this case by posting a confirmation that the case actually is closed, right here.
