Earth 3010 - Small Mafia (Sign-ups)
The year is 3010 and the world has been destroyed....3 times.
Each time it is rebuilt, each time it is more advanced, as are the people who live upon it. Science and Technology have progressed so far they are evolving out of control. Human have been remade, not as organic organisms but as living machines.
As with all advances, there comes power, and with all power, comes greed. 90% of the world’s population are blissfully unaware of what their ‘bodies’ are truly capable of, but there are a select few who have discovered their ‘abilities’ and seek to use them for matters other than peace.
The Government, in an effort to combat this rising threat, has created a secret sector of ‘rare’ and ‘specially designed’ agents who have been programmed for maximum efficiency and know no fear.
Their powers know no bounds; their battlefield is society itself,
Righteousness verus Immorality.
Fate is neutral.
Who will win? Or more importantly, who can win...?
This is a small semi-mafia game, with a cap of 10 players: 5 evil, 5 good.
Aim: A classic battle between good and evil, the good need to defeat the evil and vice versa. Each faction has specific roles, (they are the same roles, just different for each faction). I have tried to make it as equal as possible, 5 aside, so that means 5 roles both factions. Roles will be revealed via pm, not sooner, so don’t hold your breath just yet
Rules: The rules are rather unconventional, to defeat an opponent, you must beat them in a duel. Duel results will be determined by a duel score given to each individual character.
Two players will vote to duel each other or one player can nominate a duel, there will only be one duel per turn, all necessary information will be revealed in the write-ups.
Instead of voting for a lynch, you vote whom you deem most suspicious (or most threatening to your goal) and if your duel is selected, the rest is in your hands.
One very important rule is that a victory or a defeat is based on the team leader. The team leader is the strongest of the group, you can win by your team leader defeat the oppositions team leader or using your team leader to assist in defeating the entire opposition. Having said that, you can also lose if your team leader is defeated, so it’s a good idea to keep him alive.
You may reveal to via pm to those whom you think is your team, No other reveals at all, are allowed. If a reveal is to be done, I shall do it in the write-up, not in public.
To vote, you simply state the word duel followed by the name of the player whom you want to duel, in bold.
E.g. Duel:Sarathos
You can not withdraw from a duel, so choose your opponent wisely.
There will be a day and night phase. Phases will be 24 hours long, I shall state prior to the deadline if there is any extensions. Day is for voting for duels, night is for write-up and any discussion needed.
