My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

Never have one, no matter how drunk I have been. A bit slower that is all, nothing a cup of coffee can't fix. Same breakfast as always, tomatoes with balsimico-vinigar and olive oil, glass of fresh orange juice, and a sandwich at the trainstation if it's a workday.
Just drink lots and lots of water before bed- as much as you can stand. Then get a decent amount of sleep and you'll be fine.
Processing alcohol uses a lot of water, so load up before you go to sleep and let your liver do its thing.

Gatorade. With scrambled eggs if my stomach is relatively steady.
When I was a drinking man I took my drinking seriously, so the morning after drinking I'd usually have gatorade mixed with vodka. Sometimes I'd eat salty cashews with it, since they seemed to stabilize my stomach decently. I didn't often have hangovers though, either because I was young or because I often drank enough to cause me to puke before I went to sleep. In fact I'd have to say in my experience the number 1 hangover cure is to throw up before bed.
Not that I recommend it, just that it really does work.

I nearly always make sure to drink a lot of water beforepassing outgoing to bed. Then if I wake up early enough (and my stomach can stand it), I have some eggs, bacon, and toast if I'm hungry enough. If it's late enough in the day for lunch, I go grab a nice greasy burger somewhere.![]()
