Can anyone put a new link for the MTW Gold edition 2.01 patch?

It was my understanding that the Gold edition is already fully patched. Or are your faction leaders automatically dying off at age 56?

Thanks for the reply , Martok. I no longer can play, so my generals dont age.

    Anyway the link here:

    https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/local....php?catid=164

doesnt work. The 2.0 version of the game is still available as Gold Edition.

The patch, to be pasted over the MTW file in Program Files is here:

Thanks to Maeda Toshiie on the yuku site.

    Hello Tony Furze,

As I recall, the SEGA released Gold Edition did need patching as some of the early ones were released at VI v2.0 in a blunder. I think at the time there was a lot of outrage both at the .org and over at .com - and CA finally had to come up with the patch (actually just the v2.01 binary (.exe) in a zip!). A stupid error really because VI was released patched to v2.01 and so was the earlier Activision released "Battle Collection".

Is the problem with NVidia Graphic Cards in Battle (Mpous estalling, etc.) solved with the Gold edition?

Because it is with Shogun's TW Gold edition. Battles with STW are perfect, but MTW won't. And I have tried all help from threads here.

The SEGA "Gold Edition" releases of MTW/STW are identical to the original MTW: Battle Collection and STW: Warlord Edition/Mongol Invasion releases respectively.

I'm not sure what the "mouse stalling" problem you're referring to is?
