Screenshot & Faction color/name

Hi there!

I hope its OK to start a new thread about this. I found a topic about "How to make a screenshot" but for me, it doesn't seem to work the usual way. I know you hit "print" during the game, then alt+tab to windows, open some picture program, create a new image and then paste the in-game-screenshot.

I used to do it that way on my old computer too and it worked. Now I only have a black screen though. If I paste into a new image I only get a black picture. The images in the "tgas" folder in the game directory are black too. Whats wrong? :(

Furthermore I have another question: If I change the color of my faction, is it save game compatible? I guess so. But when I start a new game, I have to restore my old setting, right? So the best way will probably be to create several files about faction colors?

I'm playing an epeirus campaign right now and I might do some RPG-revolt-stuff when I have a faction leader who is from another ethnicity... so I would have to re-name and re-color my faction.

Is anti-aliasing on?

Yes, Anti-Aliasing is on "high". I already tried it with A-A on "None" -- still black.

Maybe you will have more success if you run RTW in windowed mode. Add -ne to your shortcut to run it windowed.

Have you tried downloading the trial version of fraps?
