However, the thought of late barbarian walls are worth the bother, I suppose??? Rather than nitpick, can anyone please provide one example of defensive architecture located east of the Rhine and north of the Danube, built within the IB time frame, other than those constructed by the Latins or Greeks. Please no Dacian hangers-on, as well.
