Fantasy Wars is a very good turn based hex strategy game. It's challenging, and deeper than one might think on first inspection. It's very similar to ye olde game Fantasy General. King's Bounty is the modern remake of the old classic, and is garnering much adoration. Download is currently the only way to get the game for some major territories; a boxed release is 'coming soon'. It's the highest rated game on the entire gamersgate service.

King's Bounty is a deliciously insane dark horse from the same guys who made the sublime Space Rangers 2. I'm tempted to call it PC GOTY now that Fallout 3 turned out to be "meh."
