    Default NationStates 2 is open to the Public

    Here it is. Join World 35. I am the moderator of the Australian continent as well as a ranking member of a number of alliances. Join up to depose or support me!

    This is more political and less game. It is a humorous outlet for all political, computer owning nerds to make their fake country into what they'd like it to be and practice drafting legislation.

    I believe that it belongs here instead of the arena. If anyone disagrees, please use disrespectful explitaves because it would be controversial and help my case for staying in the backroom.

    BTW - my nation is called the "Confederacy of the Arhat Islands" or just "the Arhat Islands"

    You will see a link that says "Create Nation"
    Come up with a name, a style of government, little details. Over time your nation and economy will start to represent your ideals.

    There are 3 "Freedom" rating: Economic, Political and Civil

    The D.A.A.N. alliance only mandates that people have a voice in government, but leaves the details to the nations. We require "average" or greater in all three freedom ratings, but make exception for falling below par in economics occasionally.

    EDIT: Nevermind, I'm on the wrong Continent. Also I fail to reach the Average needed for economic freedoms. Surprise, surprise. Is there any way to change continent?

    I'm in 48 with Ramonia. A corrupt dictatorship based on my answers in the initial questions.

    Though, if people did want to synchronise, we could delete the nations and start again in an agreed world? Except for Tuff, I guess, who I think has had his nation for a long time.

    People first settled the Arhat Islands in the 5th century A.D. They crossed over the great Reef from an area North of Nazzuben. Comprised of numerous tribes of the Marma and, to a lesser extent Nazzu ethnic groups, many years passed before any semblance of unity was achieved.

    In the 17th century, various navies from The continent of Dictatoria brought settlers to areas that would later become metropolitan centers of the Island chain. By the 19th century the various ethnic groups had largely become indistinguishable as one Marmosan cultural group and forged a political confederacy between the islands.

    By 1880 The islands were collectively know as “the Confederacy of the Arhat Islands”. The nation is inexorably linked to the Continent of Australia, directly across the straight from the Nation of Nazzuben.
