    Default Your Taste In Music?

I thought I'd try something, a little game, kinda. Basically go to your music player/library and hit shuffle. And post the first seven songs that show up. Should give a basic indication of the music your into.

    Here goes:

    1. In the Light - Led Zeppelin
    2. Miss X - MC5
    3. Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix
    4. Eight Miles High - The Byrds
    5. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
    6. L'Via L'Viaquez - The Mars Volta
    7. Money - Pink Floyd

Oh, buy this should be interesting...

    1. "Hey You"- the BTO.
    2. "Country Blues, No. 1"- Muddy Waters.
    3. "Great Divide Revisited"- Hot Tuna.
    4. "Voodoo Chile Blues"- Jimi Hendrix (the "Blues" album version.)
    5. "Every Hungry Woman"- The Allman Bros.
    6. "High on a Horse"- the Grand Funk Railroad.
    7. "3/5 of a Mile in 10 Seconds"- Jefferson Airplane (the live, "Bless Its Pointed Little Head" version.)

Not really the best summary; it left out all the modern bands I listen to, and plus I buy whole albums instead of singles (I don't think I've ever actually listened to "Great Divide Revisited.") Still, not bad.

Edit: turns out #8 is "Give Your Heart Away" by the Black Keys... there's a modern band for you. Ah well.

Occasionally I can listen to Bethoven, Vivaldi and Mozart but... from pop-culture. The order is of no importance.

1.Within Temptation: What Have You Done(That's shattering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

2.E-type: To the Lions(Few are the songs of E-type I do not like, in fact)

3.Madonna: Frozen(That's really fanatstic: both the song and the video)

    4. Highland: Veni, vedi, vici ( Italian group)

    5. The Rasmus: No fear(what to say...The Rasmus)

    6. Linkin Park: Leave out all the Rest(...)

    7. Графа-Искам те (Grafa-Iskam te(I want you)) This is obviously Bulgarian... The text (unfortunately in Bulgarian) is very powerful, the video is cool, too.Story about dark power and love put on test. If you google it you will get to YouTube)

I have a lot of the kidlet's music in here, so bear with me if some Pooh Bear Christmas comes up.

    1. Partita #3 in E Major, BWV 1006: III, Gavotte en Rondeau Bach, played by Hilary Hahn
    2. Sickman Alice in Chains
    3. Physical (You're So) NIN
    4. Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 - Variato 26 A 2 Clav. Bach played by Glenn Gould
    5. The Grudge Tool
    6. The Mustard Joss Whedon (From the Buffy: TVS singing episode soundtrack)
    7. Day Tripper The Beatles

Reasonable cross section I guess. Bach is appropriately represented, but not a lot of variety really...
