Pausing during battles.

I pause all the time. I think I live more battle-time paused than non-paused. All the good reasons for this behaviour have already been pointed out.

You do know that you can disable the restrict camera option to view the entire battlefield right?

Yes, I know, but it still takes precious seconds to traverse that distance, and By which time it could already be too late. I hate taking lots of casualties (It means i have to hold up my campaign while they go home to retrain), so i try to be as effiecient as possible.

Hmm, just remembered (how did I forget?!) that part of the need to pause in STW/MTW was that I played with Restricted camera.

That doesn't seem to work well with stuff like city assaults in the RTW engine so I play with Free Camera.
