Yes, I know, but it still takes precious seconds to traverse that distance, and By which time it could already be too late. I hate taking lots of casualties (It means i have to hold up my campaign while they go home to retrain), so i try to be as effiecient as possible.@terraforce

Hmm, just remembered (how did I forget?!) that part of the need to pause in STW/MTW was that I played with Restricted camera.
That doesn't seem to work well with stuff like city assaults in the RTW engine so I play with Free Camera.
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...
