    Default One Man's Japan

I've stumbled upon an interesting Wordpress site which contains much commentary and many images and videos of Japan. I thought perhaps some here who are interested in such things would find the site entertaining. High-quality pictures of festivals and museums abound. He covers quite a wide variety of subjects, listed on a navigation border on the right side of each page.

So far, I've particularly enjoyed his coverage of Chushingura, Yabusame, Kyudo, Bonseki, and the Sapporo ice sculptures, which I saw back in 1972, while visiting family there. I'll definitely be spending some time here over the next few days.

For those who've not already found this, here is:

Samurai Dave: The Roving Ronin Report

I would enjoy reading about any interesting discoveries that you find on this site. There's so much information that it will be easy to miss good stuff.

Wow, that's a lot of good stuff. Thanks for the link, Masamune
The purpose of a fish trap is to catch fish, and when the fish are caught, the trap is forgotten. The purpose of a rabbit snare is to catch rabbits. When the rabbits are caught, the snare is forgotten. The purpose of words is to convey ideas. When the ideas are grasped, the words are forgotten. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words? He is the one I would like to talk to.
