    Yes. Pretty much all of the trade-bonus temples are inferior to the law-giving temples. Once again, with the exception of the corruption-free cities.

    Yep, playing as Romani, you're fine if all your trade bonus temples are in the Italian pennisula with Rome as your capital. Of course, once you expand your empire in the late game, you might want to change your capital. I was thinking of moving my capital to Byzantium after I take on Gold and Silver Death. :D

    Pretty much down to the gold death atm myself as they control the eastern half of the map with fronts in North Africa and Greece/Dacia. Only Baktria has anything remotely resembling some territory left (grey is at 1 province.) Elite Phalanxes on hard = royal pita.

    OT, I usually leave temples in place as is without worrying much about the bonuses save the Mars style temples which I always uproot.
