Will allowing removed units make my game non-save compatiable?

Almost all? If it isn't too much to ask, do you happen to know which ones are incompatible? Unit size perhaps?

I had the EDU in mind, not the EDCT, if that is what you're talking about.

Sorry to be a pain...

I've found the file I need to alter but their is thousands of lines of code to look through. This maybe a little and cheeky but is there any chance some one could post there modded file for download?

To allow removed units that is.
