Need help making EB run with Alexander

I can't make it work. I copied the files into my EB folder and the tried to change the shortcut target. It kept saying that it was invalid. I changed the name of the executable to match the name I found here on the forums and the file refused to work.

What did I do wrong?

Never mind. I figured it out. I must have read the instructions ten times and somehow couldn't see that it said that I DIDN'T have to change the target line if I copied the files.

I highly suggest the Alexander EB Minimod found on this subforum, it enables all Alex-Features and additionally offers the chance to include several other minimods like konnys Legions, City Mod etc.

And it's (almost) impossible to screw the installation up...

Just one question to make sure I don't go and do something stupid: I already made EB run with ALEX.exe using the files from this link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BYT1DO3C . Should I still install the files from the mini-mod pack?
