Hatrene clibanarius/cataphract?

I saw in old thread that TPC mentioned Hatrene clibanarius/cataphract used by parthians. Anyone know what it is? Some kind of cataphract-camel? The closet thing I found is Hatrene heavy cavalry in osprey pictures, but it has no horse barding and looks rather "light"...

There are no camel units in EB. It was decided that since there were not very many accounts of them used in battle in the EB timeframe that the unit space would be better used elsewhere.

Dont want to be rude, Celtic Punk, but I dont think he was asking wether they were in EB or not :P As to the real question, what these Hatrene clibanarius/cataphract are, I am afraid I have no clue.

I know the Osprey, it depicts a Hatrene "Clibanarius" from the 2nd century AD. He wears mail beneath his quilted tunic and a quilted cap over his helmet. His horse is unarmored.

Why should he be on a camel :)

I wasn't being rude. That was a neutral statement... Why would I flame the guy? I ask questions like this all the time as I am a relatively new (not new new new, but pretty new... about as new as i joined the org new, ya knew?) you answer a question about a topic thats taken with distaste around here, and you get slapped in the face... jesus.
