In M2TW, blacksmiths are way more complex, so you really can't compare it... That being said, I'm pretty sure there won't be a "blacksmith" building in EBII.

Is there any chance you are going to use the armour upgrades instead of new skins to represent reformed Romani units? That would be really nice, as EB always needs for unit slots.

The problem with that option is the hardcoded +1 armor that comes with upgrading the armor/skin. You get +1 armor and only +1 armor. Since reform units often have differences in nearly all their stats or even fighting style, this is an obsticle.

Fine then! Then I am going to spam CA with requests to change the hardcoding!

    *sobers up*

So would an online petition work? What's the benefit of hardcoding anyway? I've heard it speeds up the game. Is that true?

forget writing to 'em-they got empires coming out.

and yes, hardcoading speeds the whole lot of the program up.

EDIT: apparently so does pak-filing the sounds and units, zbut I'm hardpressed for proof.

That's true, but how difficult is it to change the hardcoding? It doesn't seem like a hard thing to do, or is it?
