There isnt enough beer
I think Im going to be a pessimist here very shortly which is rather sad because my mum said that wouldn't happen till I was at least 40. So not only am I pessimist whose country is criciling the drian but I have a liar for a mum.
Fat people have a hard time here, always bullied and to my shame I must admit that haven't always been the nicest guy to have around, or more accurate, I have been a total bastard when I was younger, a lot of things I did and said that I really regret now.

This from a man who diet appears to be beer and snack packs.

Don't worry, when you're thirty you be overwhelmingly glad that organization exists.

Yeah, I'm the same here. I am truly ashamed of some things I said when I was in High School

There was this day last year when I was working at the airport , a nice day which meant lots of tourists going out to the islands , it meant a lot of very big people getting onto very small planes .
Due to the nature of the planes , the airport and the flights the pilots pick who to carry on each flight based on both the size of the people and the amount of luggage they want to bring .
As you can imagine lots of fat people waited a long time on the apron because pilots would only fit a few of them in at a time .
Was that discrimination ? were they getting a hard time of it ? did they feel rejected ?
Now here is the crunch , one man was really really fat , I mean absolutely huge .
He was left standing on the tarmac while all the planes were coming and going , getting rejected each time , he must have felt the world was against him . Finally he was the only one left waiting when a plane came in , the pilot gave him the nod and he went to board .
He then found that was too fat to get through the plane door anyway and had to go by boat instead .
Should he have been accepted or should he have had the sense to take the boat in the first place ?Perhaps someone should have just told him "sorry you is too fat to fly" , but then would he have felt rejected and disriminated against anyway .
And yes I laughed a hell of a lot at that airport watching fat people trying to fly .

Obesity should not be taken for granted. However, people are too heavy not because of their own shortcomings, but because governments cave in too much to food corporations and refuse to protect consumers.
A few simple measures would go a long way. Less profits for a few companies perhaps, but a huge financial benefit for society as a whole through less healthcare expenses.
Oh well, it took over a century to clamp down on the tobacco industry. Obesity has only been an epidemic for three decades. Who knows, in seventy years time...

Are they serious? Support being overweight? I understand it, yes, sure. But, I'll not be supporting being overweight anytime soon.
Dont get me started on the corn industry in this country. Its always the midwest. The autos the manufacturing the dumb crops. Utterly ridiculous.

Well im sure if you were trying to chug 15 stone of fat up a set of stairs you may want some support too
Just to clarify 15 stone of fat, not 15 stone being fat....

Yet it's found in so many things these days in America. Down to most breads, whole wheat or otherwise, even in your double cheese burgers. The frenchmen's right about this one, alot of it does have to do with our government. From the pork the congress feeds to the corn industry to the idea's of entitlement that seems to have created an entire generation of people who think the ill's of their lives are never their fault.
Obesitas is a lower class problem, good food is expensive, especially 'real' food without all the chemicals. In that situation cheap tasty fast-food is a bit of a curse, you think you just ate something but it's nothing at all.
Sasaki Kojiro 20:46 11-13-2008
You can eat mcdonalds every day and not get fat as long as you don't eat too much of it and you get enough exercise.

QFT. Anyone who says diets don't work isn't trying. If you burn more calories than you consume, you will lose weight. You can even remain sitting on your couch without moving at all and lose weight, you just have to eat nothing but celery in the process. If you're not losing weight, eat less and get more exercise until you do. The human body cannot defy the laws of physics.

Sigh.
I won't deny that differences in physical makeup affect how fast you burn calories and whatnot, but when you weigh 300 pounds it's a bit rich to argue that you were predestined to become so fat
It's true that a lot of foodstuffs in the supermarket are junk,
that's why you've got to watch what you eat. An old friend of mine (who was always chubby) has become so much overweight that when I or other people receive him at the house you've got to be careful wich chair he'll be seated on. We have in the past repeatedly warned him about his health and heard him claim that he'd start with diets and sports, only to do nothing. (I've considered going sporting with him on a weekly basis but the truth is I'm not very motivated myself- but I don't have a personal need to)
I haven't done any statistical work on this myself but I'm pretty sure that this is typical of most fat people. Said persons' parents aren't thin either, but not as big as him and besides, it doesn't explain his weight increase over the past years.
Disclaimer: I don't support school bullying, job refusal or deportation of fat people and I've never done any of those things myself.
Crazed Rabbit 02:18 11-14-2008
Man, if you've never deported fat people you haven't lived,
Anyways, as has been said:
In - Out + Generation - Consumption = Accumulation
They're asking us to accept and support people who's problems are entirely of their own making because of low willpower.
I understand it. I won't support it. And I doubt I subscribe to their 'understanding' anyway.
CR
Just from reading the tavern I know you should probably cut back on McDonalds and snack packs....I mean come on dude...they don't even taste good!
CrossLOPER 04:08 11-14-2008
So break it. Have a little willpower...
