Hmmmm... I need a new name then. What do you guys think it should be? Some details of the AAR will be decided by you guys, so I welcome any and all input, thanks!

The pic is small but i like the idea of more detailed naval battles.OOC What do you think of my little map of the Naval battle? I'm going to do better next time, but thats what most of the naval engagements will look like from now on. I will sometimes put more than one on, and go completely indepth, depending on how vital the battle is.
I think non-spartans who did the agoge were an exception .or is there already another word for non spartans who do the agoge

I love the smell of bronze in the morning!
Campaigns completed: Vanilla Seleucid, EB 1.2. Carthaginian, RSII Pergamon
They where. There was no name for one who completed the Agoge, even the Spartiatai. Rather, if they did manage to complete it (the Spartiatai), they became Homioi, or Equals.

Chapter something...
King Akrotatos stood firm... This was HIS ring afterall! Young Tellianos of Thebes stood opposite... He was not intimidated the slightest. He WAS the other finalist. 5 people had died already in the ring that day. "FIGHT!" So starts the most brutal of all sports. Pankration... I myself dare not enter... Not after what I've seen personally! The 190lbs Thebean was lifted above the King, he threw him about 10 feet away, but the boy shot up like an arrow, charged forth and unleashed a fury of blows, under which a lesser man would have been slain by. Our King parried blow after blow like his hands were shields and his arms were blades. The fight seemed to go well, and was very exciting. Nobody could tell who would be the victor. Each round proved to have a different man besting the other. Till the final round that is. It was cut short horribly. The Thebean rushed forward, threw the Spartan king over his shoulder, punched down but missed, Akrotatos rolled to his right, hopped up and shot the boy in the neck with his fist. He made a horrible gurgling sound as blood spewed from his mouth. He flailed around trying to gain some bearing, falling over himself. the horrible scene lasted 5 minutes, with onlookers shocked and horrified. They'd seen men die in the ring... But this boy was but 19, had much promise, and to end with such a gruesome death was quite chilling. He knew the risks... It was all part of what you accepted when you entered that ring.. Especially with.. A Spartan.

Nice chapter there, mate. Always liked Pankration, wanted to do some lessons this year as well, but University seems to get the best of me
