You may not be Greek genetically, but be Greek in spirit. And somone with a strong Greek spirit is much more a Greek than someone with a bad spirit and Greek parents. More or less, it's what Alexander said: "To me, every good barbarian is a Greek and every bad a Greek a barbarian"
