how to speed battles?

guys how do i make my unit cards and formation buttons back as in vanilla RTW? like in this vid?

or failing that, how do i speed up battle? gets annoying traveling from one end of the map to another

1.I'm not sure how you can change it back to that way.

2.aren't there battle options when you move your cursor to the top, that have options such as speed and show the minimap?

If you are talking about the "minimal UI", that is an option in the preferences.txt. If you installed the trivial script, run the "configuration" option... "preferences"... and uncheck "minimal UI". Or just use CTRL-T to increase to full speed.

ctrl t is it? is it the same to revert back to normal speed? what abt the other(med-fast) speed setting? thx

CTRL-T toggles between normal and triple speed. I don't believe there is a hotkey for double speed.
