Really, this no lynch madness has to stop.

How do you guys expect to kill the mafia if we are not going to lynch round after round?

We have only 8 players left. In a worst case scenario, there are two mafiosi left.

Please, keep in mind that we absolutely need to lynch next round or we lose this game.

1) protown roles and their impact
2) mafia killing each other
3) actual evidence popping up justifying a lynch

"Its very dangerous isnt it Jarred?"

"Indeed it is. But we think that it is our duty as Beef town community to catch the killers."

"Ok. Please tell us what the town is like recently."

"According to the scientists, some towns man of Beef town are so stubborn Beef lovers that they will get allergic reaction when they eat meats other then Beef. Those stubborn Beef lovers are the ones who got in the meeting."

"So are you saying that average townies don't mind eating other meat products?"

"Yes indeed. They seem to dislike it at first, but after a few steak, they will like foreign meats which is going around like porks, lambs and chickens."

"What is the reaction of our community towards those traitors?"

Angry letter arrives on the watcher


Town! The first excerpt note from The Watcher is fake! The second is authentic The Watcher as you should be able to tell by style. Also, the Watcher investigated khaan last night and he was a 100% beefy and innocent and dead.

Alright, now the problem with The Watcher manifests itself...

We have no true way of verifying whether the most recent angry letter was from The Watcher or whether it was simply the Mafia pretending to be The Watcher to fool us into disregarding the first message. All we have is text analysis. Below I have copied every single message that The Watcher has sent (If I missed one, feel free to alert me):
First message:

You will succeed as long as I am alive

Second message:

Disregard every message that comes to you except from The Watcher. I will also make sure to tell you if any fakes show up.

Askthepizzaguy was innocent, both by The Watcher's investigation and by kill. It is pointless theorizing about him.

Third message:

The Watcher has been investigating people who will die, but this time, unlike Askthepizzaguy, The Watcher noticed Chaotix's garbage smelled like lamb. It seems there are different Mafia families, and one has been knocked off by the other!

Alright things that can be noted from each one, in order:

1. First - No punctuation at the end of the message. Certainly legitimately from The Watcher because I find it highly unlikely that any true Detective would take the same name that a Mafia group made up earlier (Ie - in this post). Use of the first person.
2. Second - A decent grasp of the English language, but a bit of confusion in the second sentence with the use of the word "also", hinting the person may either be somewhat sloppy sometimes or a bit younger (And hence more likely to be prone to mistakes). Also note the American spelling of the word theorising, hence indicating that the person is American. Use of the first person.
3. Third - A good grasp of punctuation. First use of the youtube link, this time showing a good grasp of western culture; most probably someone who lives in England/US. Also the first time that the third person is used.
4. Fourth - The message that is most in dispute. There is an awkward use of the word "happy" here (The standard English idiom being "great" or "good"), perhaps pointing to one who lives outside the English speaking world. Also the way that lamb is referenced to me seems rather different to how it is referenced in message three. Quite crucially the name "Watcher" is not capitalised here AND ONLY here. I would say this message is definitely faked.
5. Fifth - Incorrect use of the word "is" in the first sentence. The constant use of the third person again seems reminiscent of the third message. The youtube link again shows a western cultural connection. The seamless use of the youtube title shows a great grasp of the language.

So from these messages I would say that the fourth message was faked and that the rest are legitimate. That then begs the question of who wrote number 4 - I would personally think it is a non-native speaker of English. Also the person is clearly experienced at mafia - no new players wouold try to get this complicated and try a gambit such as this. I personally would FoS: Andres for that reason.
