That's like asking: are the changes significant enough to warrant a full installer + ditto release post + download tracker set up + torrent file + ... ?

It's your call, though.

Well, I'm about 30 years into my campaign. (120 turns)

If the changes are significant - ie. much less crashes, better gameplay, etc, then I'll start a new campaign with 1.2
If the changes are mostly cosmetic, I'll just finish my 1.1 campaign and start a 1.2 campaign with a new faction in the future.
