There are a lot of other things you can do to troubleshoot your installation. Please run a validation and post the results in a new thread first. Also you can see the list of suggestions in the validation post, which you can find through the Important Information sticky. You may find the answer there.

Ok, so I did what you said and I ran an Validation Install and what not....though when the Text came up...it was Utterly Blank???
Get 1.2 and run that validation. I've updated it in the new release to give a bit more feedback.

Heres another thing Iv noticed...
When I was awaiting a reply from you, I tired to play Original Rome:Totalwar...however everything I tired to play it, it would always boot me to the Desktop agian like EB would. There was one shortcut that would let me play..though it was a Version 1.0 that opened up, where as the one that kept booting me was a 1.5 (Required to Play EB)
Think that has anything to do with it not working??
Of course. If RTW doesn't work, your problem is not with EB. Or, your first problem isn't.

If I didn't download the 1.2 EB and just the 1.1, could that be the Problem to everything?
No. If RTW doesn't work, your problem is not with EB.

Ok
So what if I only Downloaded and Installed EB 1.1 and not 1.2 (patch) with it? could that be the problem???
Secondly
Whenever Iv installed EB in the past (without 1.2, I have yet touched any 1.2 EB) my R:TW would work perfectly well befor EB and then after EB was on my Computer, it wouldn't work....the only shortcut that did work for R:TW was a version 1.0 however
I apologize for all of this....THOUGH I really wana play EB!!!!
You. Need. To. Get. RTW. Working. First. Then. Install. EB.

Ok....My Rome is finally working even with EB on my computer!!!!(mabey because I installed 1.2..idunno)
Anyways, now that Rome is working..it still boots me out when I click on EB Singleplayer. HOWEVER!!!!! I have not yet Fully utilized 1.2 onto my computer for I do not understand how to......"[First select your RTW where EB1.1 is, then remove this]" I do not understand what to do?
If you could tell me I would Appreciate it greatly...
BTW, Rome Works Perfectly
Where did you install EB 1.1? You did that in the RTW folder, let's say for example "C:\Games\RomeTW". Replace that with wherever you actually installed it in all instances below.
You need to select the same location as EB 1.1 when installing EB 1.2. When you browse and find the location, it will display as "C:\Games\RomeTW\[First select your RTW where EB1.1 is, then remove this]". The next step is to remove the latter part, so that it again reads "C:\Games\RomeTW" (or "C:\Games\RomeTW\", that last slash doesn't matter). Then you should be good.

Well, Iv installed the 1.2 in the same place as 1.1, which would be in a Folder which is not in Program Files.
Now when I go into this folder, there are a bunch of little things from other mods (all deleted from Rome) and then there is the 1.2 Folder just saying [First select your RTW where EB1.1 is, then remove this] however I cannot find where it says"C:\Games\RomeTW\.....or is that something I must type in as the name?

Hey, so I brought my Computer Wizard friend over and he fixed it for me and Im enjoying the game greatly....turns out that it was a simple misunderstanding on first installing the 1.2 and deleting all that junk that it said to delete
Anyways I just wana say thanks for all your help, and apologize for any agony
PS. whenever I play Custom battles and I chose a faction to play, all the units are all the same, kinda like Mercenarys or something... other than that....IT FUCKING ROCKS!!!!
Use the Trivial Script when starting EB to change between the custom battle unit selection and the campaign one.
