Please help with CTD

Its 220 BC and I'm playing Parthians. It crashes when it hits romans turn I believe. not sure how to get past it and I dont have another saved game to fall back on.

I'm doing awesome in this campiagn and dont want to lose it.

I've had the same thing with Macedonians and the guys down on the southern end of the Arabian peninsula. Lovely campaign humming along fine, then one turn it all goes CTD, and I lose my interest. Doesn't matter if you run the turn with script or without; it's CTD for you, kid.

Given how slowly the mod loads itself and individual games, I find I just don't have the patience or time to continue.

Happened before in 1.0 with a roman campiagn. I tried 1.2 fixes btw, still nothing :(

There's a mind-numbing list of tricks, hacks and console adventures to try right here. Kinda daunting reading, but it's all there.

The section you're looking for is under the text The game crashes as soon as I end turn / The game crashes during the AI turn.

The easiest way to circumvent any such crash is to revert to an older save. There are lots of other ways too, as Lemur pointed out, but that is the easiest and anyone should be able to do it. If you haven't retained older savegames, you really should from now on.
