    Default Q: Roman cavalry info?

I just wondered if somebody could recommend a good source of info on historical Roman cavalry?

I did a mini-mod to nudge RTW Romans closer to history, but it and my notes got lost due to PC disasters

    Thanks!

Here's a link that I use. It's rather short, but apparently Roman cavalry of the era weren't really Roman. Good luck!

I'm going to move this to the Monestry (History forum) - you should gain the attention of those qualified in this field over there.

    Good luck

BTW, something a quick Google search churned up.

Now I can finally reply to this. What era of Roman cavalry were you interested in? The Republic, Early Empire, Late Empire?

Peter Connolly's Greece and Rome At War gives a bit of info on them in all periouds, but does not go incredibly indepth. Just the equipment, organization, etc... Osprey's Late Roman Cavalryman goes into quite a bit of detail about the late empire.
