Thread: Maybe I am overly critical

Default Maybe I am overly critical

But I think that $400 on a haircut to make this thing ....http://www.progressivedemocrats.ie/u...y_AAA_0030.jpg...look "presentable" is a complete waste of taxpayers money .
If that fat ugly bitch wanted to look better on her jaunt to the States she should have gone for some severe lipo and plastic surgery at her own expense rather than billing the taxpayer 400 dollars for a hairdo .

For those gentlepersons somewhat confused by my esteemed countryman's righteous ire, he is referring to the poster girl for health and happiness, Mary Harney - and yet another in the endless stream of petty corruption that makes us all so proud of our government.

And yes, you read a'right - the lady is indeed Minister for Health.

This sort of thing is why people are disillusioned with politics...

Default AW: Maybe I am overly critical

Don't worry, on this issue I'd say you're spot on, not overly critical.

"Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?"
    -Abraham Lincoln

Four stage strategy from Yes, Minister:
Stage one we say nothing is going to happen.
Stage two, we say something may be about to happen, but we should do nothing about it.
Stage three, we say that maybe we should do something about it, but there's nothing we can do.
Stage four, we say maybe there was something we could have done, but it's too late now.

"Fat," judging from her picture, is likely (at least using common medical definitions.

"Ugly," is a question of personal taste (though I don't see beauty pageants in her future either).

"Bitch," is offensive and no evidence is offered to support that label. BG didn't seem to object, however, so perhaps those "locals" who have been exposed to her charm on a more personal level would concur with your assessment. I'll defer.

400+ dollar haircuts are, I am afraid, all too common. Billing the taxpayer for same, when an adequate haircut can be procured for $20, should be prosecuted as a minor instance of fraud.

Governments all across the glove seem to endure this sort of thing, don't they?

400 dollars on a diet plan would have been better spent, 400 dollars towards something useful to ireland would have been a much better option.

You could buy an awful lot of paper bags for $400.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I guess it would depend on your definition of the word, corrupt and stupid seems a bit more appropriate but if she is like this often then bitch is probably appropriate....

Well, if a $400 haircut sounds so corrupt as to undermine Ireland's pride in its government, then obviously you lot are doing something right.

Gaelic , but how much does Harney get if she gets the bullet ?
Molloy may well waste money but it was harney that insisted the government jet be used for the US trip which puts the waste into even larger scale , she seems addicted to the government planes . Even if she is only going down the road with her husband she wants to go by Learjet .
She should have been booted when she used the Air-Corps search and rescue plane to go to a party .
I woud suggest that the air-corps taxi is used for a live rescue exercise , kick the bitch out over the atlantic and then try and rescue her with the helicpters that were just sold at bargain basement prices , though with her natural bouyancy maybe she can stay afloat till the new helicopter that has been sitting at Yeovil for the past 4 years because she is complaining that her department has to pay some of the bill arrives .

She might be a martyr, trying to eat all the fat in Ireland so that only the healthy food is left for the rest of the population. You should be ashamed to mock her for that.

Let us think positively. She is at least 400 dollars more prettier then what she used to be. Imagine what she was like before
