I just got an error that said cas file is empty. I was trying to load a saved 1.0 eb game. No modding or editing was done to any of the files. Any help is much appreciated,![]()

Welcome to the Forum!
Did you really waited for more than a year to do your first post?
Do you want to play a v1.0 savegame under the new 1.2? in this case you are doomed, as the new versions are NOT savegame compatible.
You can start a new campaign, I don`t know where to get the v1.0...

I guess I did wait one year to post. The only reason why I have continued to use 1.0 is for the campaign that I had started when 1.0 was released. I thought that maybe the new versions would somehow corrupt the older 1.0 What exactly is a cas file? Ideally I would love to somehow fix the error and continue the campaign that I had going for a long while. I was playing as the Epirote on vh/vh and was fighting a two front war against Sweboz on the west and the Seleucids on the east. Pretty epic stuff
Is the only course of action to just forget it and upgrade to 1.2 and start over? Thanks for the help.
