Update:

Was re-downloading EBv1.1 last night. Left it alone. Came back a few hours later and my internet was only downloading at 20kbps. It was at 21%. To top that off, me trying to fix it crashed the internet, so I just left it alone since it was 2AM and I didn't feel like bothering with it.

Anyway, will be downloading for the better part of today.

If anyone has any reasoning for my bad luck, please share it. Also, if anyone can tell me why after I installed it it didnt work 3 times.

Just out of curiosity, how does a 'play by email' game work, especially with so many players? The premise of it sounds intriguing
