    Default Interesting Tool

I'm not sure if you guys have been made aware of this, but I thought that I should throw it out there.

I was browsing the Stainless Steel submod forum and saw a really cool idea: Use Oblivion's Face Gen tool for realistic faces.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=206784

This way, you can make lots of highly detailed faces with minimum effort. Plus you can make more 'ethnic' faces as well as have lots of different artists create faces that look more consistent because you use the same tool. Anyway, the guy who did it has some rough examples of greek units.

I think they'll just import the faces from RTW. It's the simplest method, isn't it?

Sorry to revive an old topic, but FaceGen can be quite useful depending on how you use it.

Using FaceGen and five minute of Photoshop:

Scipio Africanus would probably look better if I spent more than a few minutes, but FaceGen just saved me a lot of time in regards to painting his face. This could be an alternative if the EB team decides not to import portraits from RTW.

The Beauty, this should be used, extremely cool. And you said this took you a few minutes, so a lot of faces like this could be made, so cool!

Just keep one style or use FaceGen and stylize them according to how the other units look like in EBII. Consistency is the absolute more important thing to keep.

What you REALLY should use this thing for is portraits.

Even if you did import faces from RTW you need to have multiple faces for use within each unit.

And I think they have a pretty damn good technique going now however they are doing it, taking that roman soldier preview into consideration. He is as sexy as I am!! Although who knows how much work that took.
