Hi, I've recently had similar problem. EB1.1 installation appears for a second on taskbar then ... nothing. No installation window. There`re EB1.1.tmp and EB1.1.exe in task manager window. Running from start=>run gives similar results. No error message.

Im running with McAfee Security center. It keep asking for permission to run this program. "Allow to run this program" also does not bring any progress.

Sorry for writting PM. I can't get activation mail and i can't post here ...
You misread. Not "run the installer from start=>run", but "run cmd (using start=>run). Then run the EB installer from there."

I suppose you can also try to turn off McAfee for the duration of installing, but it should work with it on.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.

I had McAfee preinstalled on a new laptop and it gave me terrible problems whenever I tried to install something. I found that turning it off for the install solved the problem in all cases. My permanent solution was to replace McAfee!
