In lue of Halloween and the Iberian costume I did I have been playing on and off since then a Lusotana campain. And during the long Thx giving weekend I played till I got tired of playing EB lol.

BUT here what is going on....

I haven't mess with Romani nor gone up to Gaul, because I want a big "epic campain/battle" against Polybian Romans. HOWEVER, its 220some.... the Romani have the Polybian reforms for a lil bit now, the Aedui/Arverni have their Time of Bondsmen reform and are making Solduros. Yet the Romans are still making Camillian guys

WTF??????

I sent an assasine to blow up the MIC in Rome, they rebuild it, and they are still making Camillian.

can anybody explain to me whats going on?????

It wouldn't make any difference. It just damages the building 100% (not destroying it) and they can repair it.

As long as they don't upgrade their MICs, you won't see polybian troops. There's nothing you can do about that.

Edit: oh, and you're right. It's a dumb AI.

what about taking his settlements, destroying mic's and leaving immediately? i think that would work even if you'd have to wait a little before they actully use 'em significantly.

Blah just massacre them without any further waiting. The Silver Death will probably be the fiercest challenge and you still have time to reach and face them, when they will probably hold some elite units waiting for you.

Try using process_cq on every Romani settlement for a couple turns. They like upgrading the MICs, they just take a long time to upgrade and often have other things ahead of them.

well Carthege (down to 3 settlements) is now a buffer between me and the Ptolemoi. AS is almost dead, instead I will be facing a "Yellow Death"

They are growing even under relentless Romani attacks.
