Well, GTA IV was released for PC yesterday, but from what I have seen on hardware forums, it is a monster. It may possibly replace Crysis as the most computer intensive game out there, or at least replace it for CPUs.
It DOES NOT SUPPORT SLI/Crossfire. Thats right, the game that recommends the ATI 3870 to run it can't even use SLI.
Just to show you guys how awful it is, look at this from a guy with a pretty sick ass computer:
Okay, this guy has a ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, the fastest videocard on the planet out there and it still doesn't too well. Apparently, the FPS dips down to 10 at times too so the benchmarks are actually making it seem faster than it actually isStatistics
Average FPS: 44.63

System memory usage: 39%
Video memory usage: 75%

View Distance: 32
Detail Distance: 70
Hardware
Microsoft® Windows Vista" Ultimate
Service Pack 1

Video Driver version: 7.14.10.621

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz
It seems like it is very poorly optimized. Even though it requires an absolutely insane computer to run even half decently, it looks nowhere as decent as Crysis which is old now. Apparently, Rockstar has said that current computers should be expected to only run the game on medium settings; the high settings will only be available on next generation hardware computers, ie probably Core i7 and 4870s/GTX 280s
