russian mongols?

So I started playing my Russian campaign... I go to plenty of Forums aside from this one and most of them Tell me that mongols usually head to Antioch if not they head down to Constantinopel. So Can someone tell me Why I've pretty much Lost my entire Eastern section to them? Thus Far Im Holding them down @ Kiev due to the fact that I have Cossacks(Uber units). Is this a Usual thing or is this like a weird instance... *shurgs* like ummm Papal states winning the game.

Tried doing the Cavalry thing... Ummm lets say they kited my Heavy cavalry and slaughtered them with arrows . I wish I was my Beloved Spain.

The Mongols head to Antioch or Kiev. I have never seen them head straight to Constantinople.

If you want to fight them, then use all cavalry armies with lots of horse archers (Dvor or Cossacks). An army with some heavy cavalry like Tsar Guard and the rest HA's can beat them fair and square in an one on one battle. Always train several of these armies and fight with three stacks against three of them. If your computer can handle it, you will have massive battles. You can trust the AI to do a proper job. Use your own heavy cavalry to kill the enemy generals. Have fun and kill them .
