I would guess that pursuing ships will hit an invisible wall and either stop or turn around. From a gameplay standpoint, that's the option that makes the most sense.

Or, CA could just include a warning that indicates the edges of the battlemap. A message that pops up saying "Beyond this point, there be monsters"!

I would imagine we'll see the same sort of boundaries that land battles use, maybe a little more range given the sea, but most likely still small enough to force a battle.![]()

i like that idea, It would also make you WANT to move them back into the fight because they'd be at a huge disadvantage near the edge due to the drop in speed.
