In a way, we've gotten alot of the perversion out into the open instead of having it subversively exist in seemingly normal families.

Larry Craig is a classic example of a sexually insane man living a lie, but thanks to the liberalization of the law and public opinion they can focus more on their hobby in the daylight instead of having to waste good pervert time on raising and cultivating relationships and families that they don't care about in order to preserve their name.

Guys like Boy George, George Michael and Elton John are obviously crazy degenerates. 50 years ago their Scarlett letter wouldn't have been as clear and they would probably be ruining a beautiful woman and her childrens life instead of just their own.

When you say "often" what are you basing this on? Are you saying that in relation to the amount of homosexually active males who married heterosexual females?
